A time traveler from 2027 stranded in 1999, she transforms into Cure Answer – gaining ankle-length twin heart-shaped pigtails, angel-wing accessories, and a purple combat outfit – with the catchphrase "Gold-Star!" (はなまる！). Honest, warm-hearted, and instinctively helpful, she trusts intuition over deliberation as a detective at the CUREtto Detective Agency alongside partner Cure Mystique (Kobayashi Mikuru). Bottling up her own loneliness and anxieties, she struggles with homesickness for her mother and original era. Her surname references Kogoro Akechi, Edogawa Ranpo's famous fictional private detective.
